Natallia's Introductory Post

Awoken by the earliest rays of the Sun, he arose abruptly, adrenaline stirring up an ugly concoction in his gut. A forgotten pain tugged at his wrists as his body lifted. Memories faded into his conscience – not quick enough as to escape the conclusions slamming headfirst into the scattered remains of sanity he retained. The body moved. It contorted backwards and trailed back to its origins. A magnet with no home – aching, pulling, reaching – further. Yet the world rounded. It could only reach itself in the end. Hollow its insides and hide; hide away from the warmth it had so futilely sought for. (A piece from my book, 'The Rose')

My name is Natallia Evaliina Jaswant Kumar, I’m one of the founders of Booksify! I’m half Finnish and half Indian and being an avid-reader from a young age developed my love for writing, which followed me into my teenage years. I enjoy fictional writing most - fantasy being my favourite genre. I met Anya near the end of 2022 when I moved to the U.S and started school in Wisconsin. The idea of starting a literary blog had been brewing in my head for a while, but after meeting such a brilliant, like-minded person I knew it was the perfect chance! Besides this blog serving as almost a time capsule, I hope we bring inspiration, and fuel the passions of writers, whether beginners or experienced!
